Shirley Forbus (8-25-16) service 8-29-16

Shirley Ann Lowery Forbus, 79, of Morris Chapel, died on Thursday, Aug. 25, at her home. 
She was born in Leesburg, Florida, the daughter of the late Frazier Evander Rowe and Mae Savorie.  She was united in marriage to Henry Jack Forbus, who survives.
Mrs. Lowery Forbus was a retired CNA with Deaconess Homecare in Selmer.  She was a member of Saltillo Church of Christ. 
In addition to her husband Henry Jack Forbus of Morris Chapel, she is survived by three daughters, Debbie Jenkins Smith of Daytona Beach, Florida, Stephanie Denise Jenkins Pickett of Finger and Laressa Ann Jenkins of Adamsville; a son, Christopher Dale Jenkins of Fort Pierce, Florida; stepson, Jeffrey Scott Forbus; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lynette Rowe; and three brothers, Gary Rowe, Larry Rowe and Jerald Rowe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Renee Jenkins; a son, Charles Doyle “Coon” or “Junior” Jenkins Jr.; a grandchild; a sister, Virginia Harris; and five brothers, Hugh  Rowe, Wallace Rowe, Melvin Davidson, John Davidson and Donald Davidson.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Aug. 29, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Mike Hollaway officiating. Burial followed in Mars Hill Cemetery near Adamsville with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer in charge of arrangements.
