“Liz” Taylor (8-13-16) service 8-16-16

Francis Elizabeth “Liz” Stanfill Blankenship Taylor, of Jackson, Tennessee, was born on Jan. 21, 1938, in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Bynum and Martha Smith Stanfill. She was united in marriage to J.R. “Bud” Blankenship who preceded his wife in death. She was then united in marriage to James Terry Taylor on Aug. 22, 1980. Mr. Taylor preceded his wife in death on Nov. 17, 2015.
Mrs. Taylor resided in Hardin County from 1954-1972, McNairy County from 1972-1980, and Madison County, Tennessee from 1980-November 2015. Liz was a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church and previously worked in assembly for seven years for Murry Outdoor Products. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, sewing, crafts, puzzle books and going to estate sales.
Francis Elizabeth Taylor departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the age of 78 years, 6 months, 23 days.
She is survived by her children, Sherry Teresa Maness and her husband Sammie of Adamsville and Bobby Joe Blankenship of Bath Springs, Tennessee; four sisters, Velma Robinson of Savannah, Barbara Taylor of Savannah, Edna Browder of Savannah and Janet Robertson of Pulaski, Tennessee; one brother, Larry Stanfill of Savannah; two grandchildren, Tiffany Warren and Tabatha Jarrett; and four great-grandchildren, Ashley Warren, Owen Warren, Lily Jarrett and Luke Jarrett.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Blankenship; and five siblings, Oleta Polk, Tommy Joe Stanfill, Linda Cook, Earl Stanfill and Freda Stanfill.
Services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with  William Duke and Homer Robertson officiating. Burial  followed in Milledgeville Cemetery at Milledgeville.
