Leland Turnbo (8-4-16) service 8-8-16

Leland J. Turnbo, 87, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 4.
He was born in Clifton, son of the late Thomas and Inez Wheat Turnbo.
Leland was a Korean War veteran (1949-1953) who served on the USS Caliente (AO-53) as Commissaryman Third Class. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years of service, Nashville, at the Broadway Office.
He was preceded in death by Wife, Mary Frances Rodgers Turnbo.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Darlene Turnbo (Doug Hayes) and Angela Kay Turnbo Ingram (Jack); son, Mark Anthony Turnbo (Donna); and grandsons, Daniel Lucas Hart (Amanda) and Joshua David Turnbo.
A funeral service was held on Monday, Aug. 8, with Phil Martin officiating at Eastland Funeral Home. A military burial followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.
