James Davis (7-25-16) service 7-29-16

James Davis, of Savannah, was born in Iuka, Mississippi on July 26, 1969, the son of Janice Swetman Davis and the late Coleman Davis.
Mr. Davis worked as a mechanic, he worked for J.B. Smith for two years.  He enjoyed playing pool, riding motorcycle, fishing, working and spending time with his granddaughter and friends.
Mr. Davis departed this life on Monday, July 25, in Savannah, at the age of 46 years, 11 months and 29 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Clenney of Savannah; one grandchild, Alyvia Cox; his mother, Janice Davis of Savannah; one sister, Violet Jones and her husband James of Savannah; and one brother, Timothy Davis and his wife Brittany of Decaturville, Tennessee; his niece, Rachel McFerson of Counce and nephew, Zachary Hindon of Savannah.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Summer Davis.
Services were held on Friday, July 29, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Clinton Hollins and Sandra Matthews officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery at Tishomingo County, Mississippi.
