Carol Gaber (6-6-16) service 8-4-16

Carol Jean Gaber, a 55-year resident of Sonoma, California, died on Monday, June 6, in Sonoma. A native Californian, Carol received her Associate Arts degree from Santa Rosa Junior College and was a longtime resident of Vallejo, California, before moving to Sonoma.
She worked as a psychiatric technician at the Sonoma Developmental Center for 35 years and also served as a foster grandparent there. Carol was a senior regent at Women of the Moose, Sonoma Lodge for 35 years.
She is survived by her son, Christian (Julie) Föhn of Savannah; granddaughters, Catherine Cervantes and Alora Föhn, grandson, Erik Föhn; and sister, Colleen (Lowell) James of Torrington, Wyoming.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Erwin Föhn, John Gaber; and her daughter, Susan Föhn.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Sonoma Moose Lodge. Private inurnment was held on Saturday, July 23, at the Föhn family cemetery in Olive Hill.
