Cherrie Rathai (7-6-16) service 7-10-16

Cherrie Lisa Gist Rathai, 47, of Leighton, Alabama, died as a result of a car accident on Wednesday, July 6.
Born in Tampa, Florida, she was the daughter of Raymond Gist and the late Sharon Steele.
Ms. Rathai was a graduate of The University of North Alabama with a degree in computer technology.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Rathai; her father, Rayond Gist Sr. of Hernando, Florida; a son, Dakota Rathai and a daughter, Sheridan Rathai, both of Savannah; a brother, Raymond Gist Jr. of Iuka, Mississippi; and a sister, Jennifer Franks of Savannah.
In adition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Chance Rathai.
A celebration of her life was held on Sunday, July 10, in the Chapel of Corinthian Funeral Home.
