William Cupples (6-28-16) service 7-1-16

William Ell Cupples, 79, of Selmer, died on Tuesday, June 28, in Jackson, Tennessee.
He was born in Bethel Springs, the son of the late Ell and Agnes Bell Murray Cupples. He was united in marriage to Shirley Katrina Holmes, who survives.
Mr. Cupples was employed with Henry Furniture for the past 44 years. He was an active member of Union Grove Methodist Church serving as superintendent of Sunday school and song leader.
In addition to his wife, Shirley Cupples of Selmer, he is survived by his daughter, Sandy Cupples Parimore of Jackson, Tennessee; a sister, Georgia Isbell of Bethel Springs; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Friday, July 1, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Barry Henson and Steve Webb officiating. Burial followed in Lake Hill Memorial Gardens at Bethel Springs.
