Naomi Ferrell (6-27-16) service 6-30-16

Naomi Dodd Ferrell was born in Hardeman County, Tennessee on Feb. 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Vernon and Minnie Faucet Dodd. 
On Aug. 6, 1946, she was united in marriage to Frank Ferrell, who preceded his wife in death on May 9, 1995.
Sister Naomi was a retired factory worker, where she was a seamstress.  She was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church.  Sister Naomi was the five-year-old Sunday school teacher at New Life for 50 years.  She loved children, especially giving hugs to the children. Sister Naomi also loved her flowers in her flower garden. 
She departed this life on Monday, June 27, in Savannah,  at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 23 days.
Sister Naomi is survived by her son, Roger Ferrell and his wife Mandi of Eads, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Janette Clemons, Dale Ferrell, April Lindley and Roger Ferrell Jr.; 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lillie Rose Isbell; and one brother, Roy Dodd.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Suzanne Kates; one sister, Ruth Smith; and two brothers, Leo and Archie Dodd.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 3 p.m., at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah with Larry Adair and Rev. Gerald Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
