Jinney Thrasher (6-13-16) service 6-15-16

Jinney Marie Wilkerson Thrasher, 87, of Savannah, died on Monday, June 13.
She was born in Savannah,  the daughter of the late William Robert and Jennie Caroline Wilkerson. She was united in marriage to J.C. Thrasher, who survives.
Mrs. Thrasher retired after working 27 years for Brown Shoe Company where she was a cementer in the glue line.  She also worked on the assembly line for Parris Manufacturing and as a custodian for Heilig-Meyers Furniture Store and Savannah Motel. 
She is survived by her husband, J.C. Thrasher of Savannah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jack Ray Thrasher; two brothers, William “Bill” Floyd Wilkerson and John Robert “Rob” Wilkerson; and four sisters, Rhoda Brewington, Martha Jane Wilkerson, Rose Ada Harrison and Ester Lee Wilkerson.
Services were held on Wednesday, June 15, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jim Chamblee officiating. Burial followed in Graham Cemetery at Savannah.
