James Mace (6-16-16) service 6-19-16

James Wallace Mace, 69, of Adamsville, died on Thursday, June 16. 
He was born in Morris Chapel, the son of the late Hartle and Hettie Clausel Mace. He was united in marriage to Carole Robertson, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Mace was a farmer and  had also worked for Magnetek and Clayton Homes. He was a member of Morris Chapel Methodist Church. He had served in the United States Army from May 1966 to May 1968 earning several medals including the National Defense Service, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Medal with Bronze Service Star, and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte Cook of Selmer, Lesa Plunk and Christy McMurry, both of Adamsville; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services were held on Sunday, June 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with Randy Morris officiating. Burial followed in Shady Grove Cemetery of Saltillo.
