Clyde Bowman (5-6-16) service 5-10-16

Funeral services for Clyde Earl Bowman, age 87, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home.
Mr. Bowman passed away Friday, May 6, at his home. He was born in Lexington, Tennessee, on May 30, 1928, to the late William Monroe and Arbie Middleton Bowman.
He worked in construction all of his life. He was a longtime foreman for B&B Construction in Adamsville. He later retired from Paragon Construction Company of Sheffield, Alabama.
After retirement Clyde enjoyed gardening and raising tomatoes. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a longtime resident of Adamsville and a faithful member of Adamsville First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Nelson Bowman; brother, Billy Joe Bowman; and sister, Mary Bowman Hardin.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Britt Bowman of Adamsville; son, William Earl Bowman (Nancy) of Jackson, Tennessee; sister, Martha Bowman Kail (Burl) of Jackson, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Teneille Bowman Dickey, Brooke Bowman Dorris, Jozette Bowman Forastiere, Casey Bowman, Josh Bowman and Keenan Bowman O’Neal; two step granddaughters, Erica Gonzales Becklar and Amanda Moore; five great-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers to serve were Terry Adams, Josh Bowman, Jimmy Britt, Todd Dickey, Clint Dorris and Greg Martin.
