Dr. Curtis Lard (4-9-16) service 4-16-16

Dr. Curtis Franklin Lard, son of Mazie and Grady Lard of Savannah, passed away at his home in College Station, Texas, on Saturday, April 9, 2016. 
Dr. Lard was a professor at Texas A&M University from 1967 to 2010 when he retired. 
He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Ann Martin Lard, daughter, Deborah and husband Franz, son, Curtis Jr. and wife Caroline, son, Darryl and wife Amy, all of Texas; daughter, Patricia and Gabriele, of Italy; 9 grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Wayman Lard, sisters, Sadie Williams and Celia Godwin, brother-in-law, Cecil Godwin, sister-in-law, Lucille Lard, all of Savannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dr. Lard was laid to rest at Memorial Cemetery of College Station on Saturday, April 16.
