Jennie Harris Barefoot (4-14-16) service 4-17-16

Jennie Lynn Harris Jones Barefoot, 63, of Memphis, died on Thursday, April 14.
Mrs. Barefoot was born in Hardin County.
She was retired from the Memphis Veterans Affairs (VA) Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, David L. Barefoot of Memphis; stepson, David Shane Barefoot of Toccoa, Georgia; son, Jason P. Jones; and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Louse Harris Turnbow and a brother, L.C. Harris, both of Savannah, Georgia, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Clarence Harris and Lessie May Moore Harris; sister, Lucy Lee Harris Stinnett; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 17, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee. Burial followed at Memorial Gardens in Bartlett. Online condolences may be expressed at www.memphisfuneralhome.net.
