Ronnie Alley (4-9-16) service 4-13-16

Ronnie Gene Alley of Clifton was born Oct. 16, 1960, in Savannah, the son of the late Thomas Eugene Alley and Johnnie Nell Hill Alley who survives of Clifton, and grandson of the late Tom Frank and Willie Mae Alley and Barney Clay and Nan Elizabeth Hill.
Mr. Alley died Saturday, April 9, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 55 years, 5 months, 24 days.
He was retired from a towboat as a deckhand and mate. Previously he had worked in construction in Nashville and worked on the pipeline in Wyoming. Ronnie was a member of Savannah Moose Lodge.
Survivors, other than his mother, are two brothers, Tommy Clay Alley and wife Mary and Danny Ray Alley both of Clifton; four sisters, Yolanda Maxedon and husband Bill of Selmer, Cathy Nell Garner and Lisa Boyd and husband Tommy, both of Clifton, and Rita Alley of Smyrna, Tennessee; and nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, April 13, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Tracy Love officiating. Burial followed in Prater’s Chapel Cemetery near Clifton with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Timmy Anderson, Jamie Keymon, Randy Kiddy, Sonny Love, David Smith, and Stephen (Fuzz) Pevahouse. Honorary pallbearer was Danny Eugene Lineberry.
