Larry Ross (3-31-16) service 4-8-16

Larry Ross, 59, of Counce, died on Thursday, March 31.
He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, the son of Era Simmons Ross and the late A.L. “Bill” Ross. He was united in marriage to Jackie Kitchens, who survives.
Mr. Ross was a truck driver for Elam Trucking Company for 15 years.  He was of Church of Christ belief.
In addition to his wife, Jackie of Counce, he is survived by one daughter, Kristin Ross Hubbard of Starkville, Mississippi; two stepsons, Josh McCayhill of Corinth, Mississippi and Jake McCayhill of Lenexa, Kansas; three grandchildren; his mother, Era Simmons Ross of Gainesville, Florida; three brothers, Rickey Ross, Kevin Ross, both of Gainesville, Florida and Mark Ross of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his  grandparents, A.L. Ross Sr., Beulah Fay Ross, Rufus Simmons and Vona Simmons.
Services were held on Friday, April 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Acton, Tennessee, with Charles Curtis and Dr. Landon Dowden officiating. Burial followed in  Henry Cemetery at Corinth, Mississippi.
