Jerry “Buddy” Rickman (3-17-16) service 3-19-16

Jerry “Buddy” Rickman, 75, of Savannah, died on Thursday, March 17, at his residence.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Joseph Joe-Bob and Maudie Pearl Evans Rickman. He was united in marriage to Joann DeShazier.
Mr. Rickman worked as a shop supervisor for Jones Motor Company.  He also had worked for Ralph Barker painting tractors and he owned his own automobile painting business.  He was a member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joann; his children, Shane Glenn Rickman, Rocky Dale Rickman, Ricky Rickman, Mickey Rickman and Shelia DeShazier, all of Savannah; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Rickman and Bobby Rickman; and two sisters, Avery Sanders and Jo Miller.
Services were held on Saturday, March 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Chris Herrington officiating. Burial followed in Gilchrist Cemetery at Adamsville.
