J.C. Murphy (3-17-16) service 3-20-16

J.C. Murphy, 85, of Olive Hill, died Thursday, March 17, at his residence.
Service was held at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Olive Hill, on Sunday, March 20, with Kyle Wishert officiating. Burial followed in the Murphy Family Cemetery, at Olive Hill.
He was born on March 8, 1931.
Mr. Murphy was a bus driver for 35 years for the Hardin County School District. He was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by one son, James Murphy (June) of Olive Hill; one daughter, Jennifer Murphy (Daron) of Olive Hill; 10 grandchildren, Tasha Martin, Daniel Murphy (Crystal), Jessica Murphy, Casey Martin, Bryson Murphy, Ethan Murphy, Peyton Murphy, Tyler Murphy, Samantha Murphy and Dustin Murphy; six great-grandchildren, Jayden Adams, Alijah Murphy, Brantley Murphy, Joshua Murphy, Carter Murphy and Dawson Murphy; sisters,  Shirley Mae Brown (Jerry) of Olive Hill, Mary Moore (Dewey) of Adamsville, Bobbie Sue Franks (Bob) of Savannah, Sally B. Mclin (Randy) of Olive Hill; and sisters-in-law,  LaVeda Murphy and Vestie Murphy, both of Collinwood.
He was “Paw” to many foster children, other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were grandchildren, Daniel Murphy, Jessica Murphy, Bryson Murphy, Samantha Murphy, Dustin Murphy and Ethan Murphy. 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Mary Lorine Murphy; his father, Seaborn Murphy and mother, Sally Kathleen Brown Murphy; brothers, Junior Murphy and G.W. Murphy; and one sister,  Dorothy Jean Murphy.
