Ezelle White (3-1-16) service 3-5-16

Ezelle Henson White departed this life on Tuesday, March 1, at the age of 87 years, 9 months, 7 days. 
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Luther and Lillie Ford Henson.  On Jan. 1, 1944, she was united in marriage to Luther A. White, who preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1982. 
Ezelle was an inspector for Angelica for 47 years.  She loved gardening, canning, sewing, embroidery on quilt pieces, and cooking.  She was a member of White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church and was a volunteer for the fire department in Walnut Grove.
She is survived by four children; a sister, Evone Morris of South Bend, Indiana; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Etoyle Henson; brothers, Melvin Ray Henson and George Henson.
Services were held on Saturday, March 5, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Jimmy McGee and Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed in White’s Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
