Ed “Big Ed” Brown, 62, of Olive Hill, died on Sunday, Feb. 28.
He was born in Clifton, the son of the late Harold Sylvester and Correna Rippy Brown. He was united in marriage to Judy M. Brashier, who survives.
Mr. Brown was a stainless steel welder at American Food Service. He attended Havanna Church and was a member of Pickwick Bass Masters.
He is survived by his wife, Judy M. Brown of Olive Hill; stepchildren, Tim Anderson of Savannah, Kerry Anderson of Southaven, Mississippi, Lorilyn Thompson of Kossuth, Mississippi; brothers, Ronald Brown of Savannah, Anthony Brown of Adamsville; sisters, Barbara Brown of Iuka, Mississippi, Gwen Franks of Olive Hill, Shellee Harrison of Savannah; half-sister, Lisa Davison of Paducah, Kentucky; 13 step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Brown.
Services were held on Thursday, March 3, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Kyle Wishert officiating. Burial followed in Olive Hill Cemetery.
