Tommy Gooslin (2-26-16)
Tommy Gooslin, 76, of Saltillo, died on Friday, Feb. 26, in Savannah.
He was born in Virginia, the son of the late Jesse and Goldie Mae Crawford Gooslin. He was united in marriage to Tamara Lois Naylor, who survives.
Mr. Gooslin owned and operated Gooslin Construction and he also did some farming. He was a member of Chicago Regional Carpenters Union.
In addition to his wife, Tamara, he is survived by his three sons, Tommy Gooslin II of Alabama, Terry Ran Gooslin of Kentucky and Roger Dale Gooslin of Kentucky; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five sisters, Dottie Roberts, Dolores Overstreet and Blanche Slaten, all of Illinois, Nanette Norris of Ohio and Shannon Kraft of Wisconsin; two brothers, Ralph Gooslin of Illinois and Jesse Gooslin Jr. of Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Arnold Gooslin; and three sisters, Jean Dodson, Shirley Freud and Margaret Sherman.
Services were held with Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
