Marie Irvin (2-8-16) service 2-10-16

Marie Gean Irvin, 87, of Savannah, died Monday, Feb. 8, in Savannah.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Jim William and Josie Hollin Gean. She was united in marriage to Willie Ray Irvin, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Irvin was an inspector for Savannah Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ.
Mrs. Irvin is survived by her three daughters, Jan Moore of Pickwick Dam, Glenda Phillips of Savannah and Pat Shelby of Savannah; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lena Austin of Memphis and Margaret Paulk of Corinth, Mississippi.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Gean and Gilbert Gean; and four sisters, Nora Cromwell, Carrie Cromwell, Mathalene Carr and Lucille Cromwell.
Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jim Chamblee and Howard Rogers officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
