Martha Jeanette Doran Hunter, age 79, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10. 
She is survived by her best friend and husband of 57 years, Joe Hunter; two sons, Greg Hunter and his wife Cecilia of Marietta, Georgia, and Mike Hunter of Gurley, Alabama;  two sisters, Josephine Arnold and Geneva Smith, both living in Decatur, Alabama;  five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 
Funeral service was held on Sunday, Feb. 14, at 3 p.m., at Huntsville First Baptist Church  with Rev. Mark Seanor officiating.  Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
