Judy Wright (2-6-16) service 2-13-16

Judy C. Wright, of Adamsville, was born Dec. 3, 1953, in Glendale, California, the daughter of the late Weldon G. and Mary Pauline Harding Carpenter. She was united in marriage to Michael Wright on May 13, 1983. Mr. Wright preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2007.
Judy lived in California and Texas prior to moving to Adamsville in 1994. During her lifetime she was a caregiver to many. She previously worked at an assisted living facility in Texas. She loved photography and formerly showed proofs for Olan Mills Studio. In 2010, she was a census worker and had most recently worked at the BP Station in Adamsville. Her genuine love and care for her family and others was not only expressed but demonstrated on a daily basis.
Mrs. Wright departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 6, in Selmer, at the age of 62 years, 2 months, 3 days.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Henson and husband Kendrick of Adamsville, Megann Ritter and husband Chris of Adamsville; five grandchildren, Mikinze Collins, Blake Ritter, Landen Henson, Brilee Ritter, Hunter Henson. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gail Carpenter; and two brothers, Gary Carpenter and David Carpenter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville. Burial will follow in Mud Creek Cemetery near Adamsville.
Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 12, from 5:30  p.m. – 9 p.m., at the funeral home. Visitation on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer in charge of arrangements. 731-645-3481.
