Sarah Rich (1-27-16) service 1-30-16

Sarah Neill Rich, 90, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Hardin B. and Katie Sue Hulen Neill. She was united in marriage to Tom Frank Rich, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Rich was the co-owner of Rich’s Store and had also worked at Brown Shoe Company.  She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Sue Vanhoose, Wayland Rich, Winda Dennis, Gayle Tidwell, Jerry Rich, Demus Rich and Teddy Rich, all of Savannah; a sister, Cleo Webb of Savannah; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers; three sisters; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
