Ola Heathcoat (1-29-16) service 2-1-16

Ola Heathcoat, 81, of Savannah, died on Friday, Jan. 29. 
She was born in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of the late Jesse and Dewey Woods Ezekiel. She was united in marriage to Thomas Heathcoat, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Heathcoat had worked as a clerk for Whorton’s Drug Store in Florence, Alabama, the bakery at Albertson’s in Gainsville, Florida and Piggly Wiggly in Savannah. She was a member of Church of Christ in Savannah.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Davis of Savannah; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Sharp of Florence, Alabama.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Heathcoat II; sisters, Mable White and Rebecca Brown; and brothers, Robert Ezekiel, George Ezekiel, and Archie Ezekiel.
A graveside service was held on Monday Feb. 1, at Memory Gardens in Savannah with Paul Thacker officiating.
