Bernice White (1-25-16) service 1-29-16

Bernice Mae White, 89, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Jan. 26, in Savannah.
She was born in the White’s Creek community, the daughter of the late Arthur and Sula Lynch Cossey. She was united in marriage to Ledford Oneal White, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and a member White’s Creek Baptist Church. 
She is survived by her two sons, Danny Ray White and Robert Earl White, both of Savannah; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane Aumack of Bristol, Indiana.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one granddaughter; one brother, Berlon Cossey; and three sisters, Lucille Austin, Edith Bevis and Evelyn Conway.
Services were held on Friday, Jan. 29, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Paul Weaver officiating. Burial followed in Bumpus Creek Cemetery at Lauderdale County, Alabama.
