Lucille Cromwell (1-22-16) service 1-26-16

Lucille Cromwell, 92, of Savannah, died on Friday, Jan. 22, in Savannah.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Jim and Josie Gean. She was united in marriage to Dudley Morris Cromwell, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cromwell retired from Brown Shoe Company and had also worked for Savannah Manufacturing Company for 20 plus years.  She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years. 
She is survived by her children, Gary Cromwell, Cathy Rains and Steve Cromwell; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; three sisters, Lena Austin, Marie Irvin and Margaret Paulk.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Owen and Gilbert Gean; and three sisters, Nora Cromwell, Carrie Cromwell and Mathalene Carr.
Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jim Chamblee, Howard Rogers, Steven Cromwell and Spencer Cromwell officiating. Burial  followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
Memorial donations may be made to Mighty Oaks at Savannah Church of Christ.
