Virginia Moore (1-15-16) service 1-19-16

Virginia Casteel Moore, 77, of Savannah, died Friday, Jan. 15, in Jackson, Tennessee.
She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Elmer and Alma Johnson Tilley. She was united in marriage to her first husband James Casteel, who preceded her in death. She was later united in marriage to Gene Wesley Moore, who survives.
Mrs. Moore was a machine operator for 35 years at Savannah Manufacturing Company. She was a member of New Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Savannah.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Travis Casteel of Lexington; two stepsons, David Moore and Charlie Moore; two sisters, Pauline and Susie; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Casteel; and two brothers.
Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Carl Copeland and Marcus Morrow officiating. Burial followed in Campground Cemetery at Hardin County.
