Shelia Barrier (11-17-15) service 11-21-15

Shelia Paulette Phillips Barrier departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the age of 63, years, 10 months, 22 days.
She was born in Madison County, Tennessee on Dec. 26, 1951, the daughter of the late James T. Phillips and Emma Lois Blasingame Davison. On Nov. 18, 1966, she was united in marriage to Lonny David Barrier, who preceded her in death on May 10, 1999.
Shelia was a lifelong Hardin Countian and was self-employed as a hairdresser. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, dancing, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Michelle Barrier Hill and Alicia Barrier Ivey both of Savannah; grandchildren, Alex Ivey, Justin Smith, Bradley Barrier, Addison Hill, Aleigha Hill, Jaycie Hill, Makinzi Ivey, Mason Ivey and Charles Barrier II; siblings, Teresa Carol Phillips Cummins of Savannah, Hershel Dewayne (Bo) Davison of Enville, Lisa Davison Payne of Savannah, Sherry Davison Sircy of Savannah, Kimberly Davison Gladish of Crump, Bradley Keith Davison of Savannah, Stacy Shane Davison of Savannah and Robert Phillips of Colorado; special sister-in-law, Loretta Davison of Jacks Creek, Tennessee; and special friends, Melissa and Joey Hunt of Savannah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles David (Chuck) Barrier; and a brother, Ricky Davison.
Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m., at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah with Keith Holloway officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
