Michael Nuzzo (11-16-15) service 11-28-15

Michael Anthony Nuzzo was given by God to Nick and Betty on Dec. 13, 1994, the second of two beautiful souls, born on this day. He leaves behind his parents, Betty and Lee Luse and Nick and Shelley Nuzzo; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Gabriella Mitchell and her husband Adam, Felicia Cromwell and Daniel; his twin, Isabella Nuzzo; his nephews, Owen and Noah; and his niece Ava.
Michael went to school in Savannah before moving to Big Sandy, Tennessee, where he graduated and spent most of his teen years.
Early on, Michael learned the importance of family and became his sisters’ protector. One beautiful thing about him was you didn’t have to be blood to be his family. Michael had a way of drawing people near to him with his smile and charming demeanor. Those truthful, trusting, beautiful blue eyes didn’t hurt his chances of drawing you into his world.
He could be fierce when he felt like he needed to take care of his friends or family, but he was an encourager for others. He loved people and wanted everyone around him to smile and feel happiness even if he had to act foolishly to get you to smile. He always had a hug waiting for you–he gave the best hugs.
Michael was a beautiful soul who has been taken away far too soon. He will be forever loved and missed. He passed away on Monday, Nov. 16.
A memorial will be held for Michael on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., at Living Word Fellowship, 18775 Tenn. 69, Savannah.
Donations can be made to his family or online at gofundme.com. All money raised will go directly to his funeral costs.
