Loy McAdams Jones (11-16-15) service 11-19-15

Loy Inez McAdams Jones, age 90, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 30, 1925, in Henderson, the daughter of the late Walter and Margie Carol Bailey McAdams. She graduated Lexington School and married Lewis Jones in 1950. They made their home at Jacks Creek. Mrs. Jones worked at the Jackson Welding Supply serving as secretary and various other secretarial jobs.
She was a member of the D.A.R. and the Henderson Church of Christ. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Fox News, and junking.
Mrs. Jones is survived by two daughters, Jennie Fletcher of Jacks Creek and Lucy Burgess and husband David of Savannah; three grandchildren, Elliott, Jason, Jamie Burgess; a sister, Betty Dunivan of Lexington; along with 31 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Jones; a sister, Ruth Franklin; and brothers, Clyde, Gale, Hugh, Jim, Ray, Jack and Tony McAdams.
Funeral services was Thursday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors–Johnson Chapel with Ben Flatt and Sammy McAdams officiating. Burial was in Unity Cemetery.
