Ralph Crites, 76, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
He was born in Springfield, Missouri, the son of the late John E. and Teresa Grace Johnson Crites. He was united in marriage to Ruth Stuckey, who survives.
Mr. Crites had worked for Jenkins-McHaan Construction, BE&K Construction, as well as being self-employed as a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth Crites; children, Grace Ann Crites, William Crites, David Crites, Ralph E. Crites and Jerry Crites; four grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Harvey, Charles Crites, Larry Crites, Albert Crites, Sandra Sande, Theodore Crites, Jenny Barton, Gary Crites, Ronald Crites, Debbie Copeland, Daryel Crites and Walter Crites.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, John Edward Crites Jr., Harold Lee Crites, Raymond Chelmer Crites, Norma Pauline Crites, Glenn Myron Crites and Patricia Lucille Crites.
Private graveside services were held on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
