Thomas Turner (10-21-15) service 10-25-15

Thomas H. Turner, of Counce, departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 7 days.
He was born in Union County, Mississippi, on Nov. 14, 1941, the son of the late Roy Franklin and Alma Louise Richey Turner.
Thomas has lived in Hardin County for 38 years and Memphis for 30 years. He had worked for Commonwealth Insurance Company for 15 years. He was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church and Bassmasters Fishing Club in Memphis. Thomas enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, cooking and grilling.
He is survived by his children, Thomas Henry Turner II of Blue Springs, Mississippi, Kimberly Ann Johnson and husband Timothy of Nashville and Tracey Ann Turner Harlin of Counce; grandchildren, Thomas Henry (Trip) Turner III and Christian Claire Turner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carey Todd (Smiley) Turner; brother, Billy Van Turner; and mother of his children, Ann Peete Turner.
Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Charles Linam officiating.
