Samuel Sims (10-12-15) service 10-15-15

Samuel Spencer Brady Sims, 5, died Monday, Oct. 12.
He was born in Nashville, the son of Shannon Gene Sims and Meredith Leigh Pierce Sims.
Throughout his short life, he was known for showing such courage and hope and putting up a strong and mighty fight that it earned him the name “Super Sam.” He attended Northside Elementary Pre-K.
He is survived by his parents, Shannon and Meredith Sims of Morris Chapel; sisters, Kendra Cox of Fulton, Mississippi, Kimberly Sims of Columbia, Tennessee, and Ellie Sims of Morris Chapel; and a brother, Walker Warren of Fulton, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kayla “Alex” Warren; and grandparents, Willard Sims, Marcia Sims, Herman “Jake” Pierce and Nadean Pierce.
Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 15, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Rex Humphrey officiating. Burial followed in Tilden Church of Christ Cemetery at Fulton, Mississippi.
