Mary Lou Cagle (10-12-15) service 10-15-15

Mary Lou Northcutt Cagle departed this life on Monday, Oct. 12, at the age of 94 years, 9 months, 15 days.
She was born in Hardin County in the Cerro Gordo community on Dec. 27, 1920, the daughter of the late Edgar and Della Northcutt. On Nov. 28, 1938, she was united in marriage to L.H. (Buss) Cagle Jr., who preceded her in death on July 25, 2007.
Mrs. Cagle retired from Brown Shoe Company and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, her church family, her nieces and nephews, her two special friends, Pam Taylor and Sherry Stricklin who she considered daughters, and the many friends she worked with at Brown Shoe Company. She always had a special place in her heart for her friend, now deceased, Eunice White.
Mrs. Cagle is survived by her sons, Nickie Cagle, Terry Cagle and wife Carol, Ronnie Cagle and wife Brenda, all of Savannah; grandchildren, Andrea Cagle Goble, Serena Cagle Thomas, Derrick Cagle, Shane Cagle, Melody Cagle Gaither, Melinda Cagle Sanders and Damon Cagle; great-grandchildren, Ali Rawlings, Cayden Cagle, Noah Goble, Tanner Cagle, Liam Gaither, Jaxson Cagle, Mia Gaither, Troy Thomas and Owen Thomas.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandchildren, Ryan Stacy Cagle and Jeffery Allen Cagle; sisters, Jo Carolyn Northcutt and Frankie Nell Northcutt; brothers, Luther Hogan Northcutt, Guymon Northcutt, Edwin Gibson Northcutt and Glen Willis Northcutt; half-brothers, Otis Stanfield and Otho Stanfield; and daughter-in-law, Sue T. Cagle.
Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Johnny Burns and Tony Polk officiating. Burial followed in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery at Savannah.
