Edward Irvin (10-10-15) service 10-14-15

Edward Carrell Irvin departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the age of 68 years, 7 months, 18 days.
He was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on Feb. 22, 1947, the son of Thomas Irvin Jr. and the late Ethel Mae White Irvin.
Edward had lived in Hardin County for most of his life and had worked at Aqua Glass. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, especially Spades, being with friends and family, and passing out candy to children on Halloween and Christmas. He had served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his son, Jemira Carroll Irvin of Savannah; grandson, Jarvous Jamal Irvin; father, Thomas Irvin Jr. of Savannah; and a brother, Joel Irvin of Savannah.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by twin sons, James and Jerry Irvin; and brother, Larry Irvin.
Services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Will Luster Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Shelby Cemetery at Savannah.
