Wesley Caperton (9-30-15) service 10-2-15

Wesley Caperton, 85, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Lonnie Elmer and Lantie Kathleen Rinks Caperton.
Mr. Caperton was a longtime employee of Chris Hill Construction in Memphis. He was a member of Eureka Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sisters, Shelby Higgins and Pat Prince, both of Savannah. He raised David Copeland and David has two children, Neki Copeland and Wes Copeland, both of Savannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cleo Burks Caperton and his second wife, Lois Copeland Caperton; sisters, Lena Blount, Hautie Fielder, Louise Blount, Inez Caperton and Barbara Easley; and brothers, Elmer Jr. Caperton, Elbert Douglas Caperton and William Robert Caperton.
Services were held on Friday, Oct. 2, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Melinda Lee and Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
