Freddie George Scott, 63, of Selmer, died Sunday, Sept. 27.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Ray and Kathryn Barnes Scott.
Mr. Scott was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by five sisters, Phyllis Stewart of Selmer, Patricia Miller of Adamsville, Teresa Elscott of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Linda Terry of Adamsville, Pam Trotter of Panama City, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Graveside memorial services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Good Hope Cemetery near Adamsville.
Family asks for memorials in lieu of flowers.
