Lloyd Tacker (9-18-15)

Lloyd T. Tacker was born in Hardin County on May 29, 1947, the son of Dorothy Mae Ferrell Tacker and the late Harold D. Tacker.
On March 4, 1966 he was united in marriage to Helen Maurine Neill, who survives.
Mr. Tacker served his country in the United States Army. He worked for PCA as a welder for 37 years and he was a member of the I.B.E.W. in Counce. Mr. Tacker enjoyed fishing, hunting and all sports, he was an excellent football player at Hardin County High School.
In addition to his wife Maurine of 49 years, he is survived by his children, Karren Kimbel of Savannah and Lloyd Tyrone Tacker and his wife Paula of Savannah; six grandchildren, Clarissa Carver, Jessica Kimbel, Vera Kimbel, Dexter Tacker, Brittany Tacker and Zachary Tacker; four great-grandchildren, Rose Tacker, Penelope Tacker, Wylder Carver and Sean Melson; one sister, Reta Sue White of Savannah; two brothers, James Boyd Tacker of Red Bay, Alabama and Harold Tacker Jr. of Savannah.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Becky Umphrey.
