John Barnes Jr. (9-19-15)

John C. Barnes Jr., 68, of Hornsby, Tennessee, died on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Mr. Barnes was a retired lieutenant at Shelby County Penal Farm.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Ellen Barnes; a son, Mark Thomas of Wheeler, Mississippi; three grandchildren; one brother, Jack Barnes Sr. of Hornsby; one sister, Verlinda Lineberry of Hornsby; three nephews and one great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John C. Sr. and Velma Barnes of Hornsby.
