Delberta Weaver (9-5-15) service 9-9-15

Delberta Rose Chard Weaver, 79, of Morris Chapel, died Saturday, Sept. 5.
She was born in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of the late Delbert and Zada White Chard. She was united in marriage to Jack Weaver, who survives.
Rose was a hostess at the Hilton and had also worked at Caterpillar and was a waitress at the Canteen for nine years.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Weaver of Morris Chapel; daughter, Nena Weaver of Morris Chapel; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy Bruce Weaver; a daughter, Barbara Ann Weaver; sister, Barbara Phipps; and brothers, Dan Chard, Ike Chard, Bud Chard, and Orville “Burt” Chard.
Services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jim Griffith officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery.
