Bonnie Harrison (9-12-15) service 9-14-15

Bonnie Kate Harrison departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 12, in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 94 years, 11 months, and 27 days.
She was born in Hardin County on Sept. 16, 1920, to the late Randall Elmsley and Eula Gertrude Long Brewington. On Dec. 26, 1947, she was united in marriage to Grady Wilson Harrison who preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1986.
Mrs. Harrison managed Harris Dollar Store from 1960 to 1970. She was of Assembly of God belief and loved vegetable gardening, canning and cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Hughes of Savannah and Marsha Jenkins of Jackson, Tennessee; one brother, Raymond Brewington of Savannah; five grandchildren, Jason Jenkins, Rachel Jenkins, Kaitlin Johnson, Chris Hughes and Todd Hughes; and two great-grandchildren, Jasmine Kate Johnson and Alyssa Simpson Hughes.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by two brothers, J.E. Brewington and Quenton Brewington.
Services were held on Monday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Arnold Newman and Danny Pettigrew officiating. Burial followed in Sunny Hill Cemetery at Savannah.
