Darien Butler, 19, of Saltillo, died Saturday, Aug. 8.
He was born in Hazard, Kentucky. He attended Hardin County High School.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, James and Laura Butler of Saltillo; and step-father, Jeff Sanders of Corinth, Mississippi; step-brothers, Johnny Smith, William Smith, Chris Dodd, Mike Knievel, Jacob McBrayer; sister, Dezaeia Howard; and fiancée, Jasmine Ellis.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Constance Sanders; and his grandparents, James E.  and Joan Butler, Deward and Brandy Napier.
Celebration of Life was held on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
