Danny Harmon (8-7-15) service 8-12-15
Danny J. Harmon, of Savannah, was born in Biggersville, Mississippi on Feb. 10, 1946, the son of the late Hubert Jasper and Maebelle Talley Harmon.
Danny served his country in the United States Army. He was a Disabled American Veteran and was a car salesman. Danny was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Savannah.
Danny departed this life on Friday, Aug. 7, in Memphis, at the VA Hospital at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 28 days.
He is survived by his wife of seven years, Bobbie Harmon of Savannah; one daughter, Lora Faye Harmon of Medon, Tennessee; and stepson, Kevin Dale Bittner and his wife Angie of Selmer. Danny is also survived by his other stepchildren, Steve McCasland and Debra Kay Willis; and stepgranddaughter, Christy Lynn Willis.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Wayne Harmon; and one sister, Carolyn Joyce Casteel.
Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jason Martindale officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
