John Norman Boggs (7-8-15) service 7-11-15

John Norman Boggs of Shiloh died on Wednesday, July 8, at the age of 81 years.
 He was born June 5, 1934, the son of the late Dalton Jefferson and Annie Riddell Boggs.
Mr. Boggs served in the United States Army. He worked for Pickwick Cove Marina as a night watchman. He had also worked for Weaver’s Mfg. in Corinth, and at a refrigerator factory in Chicago.
He enjoyed Tennessee football and hunting. He was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughters, Annie Mae Yarber, Sarah Derr, and Becky Roberts; sisters, Bernice Hooper, Jane Fowler, Norma Wallace and Darlene Knight; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Boggs; brothers, Travis Boggs, Truman Boggs and Vernon Boggs; sisters, Eunice Boggs and Mary Boggs.
Services were held on Saturday, July 11, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Keith Driskell officiating. Burial followed in Center Hill Cemetery at Counce, with full military honors.
