Jerry Finley (6-25-15) service 6-27-15

Jerry “Jaybird” Finley, 73, of Savannah, died Thursday, June 25, in Adamsville.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Joel Gilbert and Mary Ann Martin Finley. He was united in marriage to Lena Beaver Finley who preceded him in death.
Mr. Finley was a retired Truck Driver for A&G Trucking Company in Crump. He was presently escorting mobile homes for J&J Escorts in Savannah.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandi Vaughn of Adamsville; two sons, Jimmy Finley and Jerry Wayne Finley, both of Savannah; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Edwin Finley and Larry Finley, both of Adamsville and Mike Finley of Selmer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, David Howell Finley; four sisters, Imogene, Faye, Arlene, Ruby; and four brothers, J.C., James, Eugene and Darryl.
Services were held on Saturday, June 27, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Gene Hanna and W.D. McCollum officiating. Burial followed in Mars Hill Cemetery near Adamsville.
