Rosemary C. Dicus, 80, of Highland, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 22, at her daughter’s home in Trenton, Illinois.
She was born in Highland, Illinois, the daughter of the late Rodney and Mary Rosetta Leroy. She married Clifford R. Dicus who died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
She was a member of Highland Community Church, Highland, Illinois, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Mrs. Dicus had worked at Brown Shoe Company in Trenton, Illinois, and St. Louis. She worked at Highland Ready Mix for many years as a bookeeper, Forget-Me-Knot Florist as a floral designer and did record keeping for her husband, Cliff’s Auto Body Shop. She was active in her church at Highland Community Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Lynn R. Rottmann and Tonia M. Schuck, both of Trenton, Ilinois; son, Billy E. Federer, Highland, Illinois; stepson , Ronald R. Dicus of Highland, Illinois; two stepdaughters, Virginia G. Barth of Edwardsville, Illinois and Brenda K. Wernle of Jamestown, Illinois; brother, Kenneth Leroy of Highland, Illinois; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous stepgrandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbandClifford and her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Earl Federer.
Arrangements were handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, Illinois.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m., on Friday, May 1, at Highland Community Church in Highland, Illinois, with Rev. Larry Wise officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m., on Saturday, May 2, at Bethel Cemetery in Savannah.
