Billy H. Rogers Sr., 77, of Savannah, formerly of Memphis, died Wednesday, April 22, in Nashville.
He was born in Kossuth, Mississippi, the son of the late George H. and Lila Mae Follin Rogers. He was united in marriage to Judith Jerrolds, who survives.
Mr. Rogers worked for 25 years for the Memphis Police Department and worked for 15 years for Fed-Ex. He was a member of the Memphis Police Association. He was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife Judy, he is survived by one son, Billy H. Rogers Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama; his sister, Ruth Leird of Florence, Alabama and his twin sister, Betty Rogers Smith of Ripley, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, I’Lav Rogers Duncan.

Services were held on Saturday, April 25, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Allen Guyer officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
