Carrie Ferrell (3-16-15) service 3-18-15

Carrie Ferrell, 88, of Savannah, died Monday, March 16.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late James Elic and Ida Grimes Shaw. She was united in marriage to Robert Porter Ferrell, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ferrell worked for Brown Shoe Company as a shoe cutter. She was a member of Spirit and Truth Sanctuary in Savannah.
She is survived by her daughters, Jane Ferrell and Janet Russell, both of Savannah; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Franklin Ferrell and Lloyd Eugene Ferrell; brothers, Paul Shaw and Bob Shaw; and sisters, Cordie Cook, Mary Etta Shaw, Eunice Shaw and Mamie Shaw.  
Services were held on Wednesday, March 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Robert Howse officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
