George White (2-23-15) service 2-28-15

George Jerry White, 70, of  Savannah, died Monday, Feb. 23.
He was son to the late Oscar and Lillian Northcutt White. He was united in marriage to Tera Jean Bratton, who preceded him in death.
Mr. White retired from Parris Manufacturing.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery Steven White Sr. of Savannah; two sisters, Mattie White Perkins of Savannah and Elsie Ruth Lewis of Water Valley, Mississippi; four grandchildren, all of Savannah; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Mamie White Qualls, Margaret White Plunk, Jimmy Ray White, Oscar White  Jr., Robert White and Mary White.   
Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Nichlos Harville officiating. Burial followed in Sunny Hill Cemetery at Hardin County
